Our Mission

This 70-bed hepatobiliary hospital in Gondar, Ethiopia will address the unmet medical needs in Ethiopia, build a center of excellence, endeavor to advance research, and to increase awareness of hepatobiliary diseases. This facility will serve to alleviate the chronic shortage of medical establishments in the remote area of Ethiopia, meet the unmet medical needs of the community, and provide service to the neediest, free of charge.

In addition, the hospital will offer private health care in hepatobiliary medicine for those who can afford it, and use the funding to pay for pro-bono patient care.
